A Sweet and Sour Journey
This is an autobiography about a Chinese girl who immigrated elsewhere with her parents and went through the transition to adulthood. Poetry played a critical part in her life to help her overcome obstacles.
Transferring poetry, Stray Bird, from an Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore, into moving image creates a visualization of a dream connected to my personal life experience. I would like to share the dreamy meditation within my film to who are stressful and struggling in the busy city life. The film itself is a process of thinking action, lyrically expresses the exploration of personal life. Using a camera as eyes seeing, contrast with the crowded city and the beautiful nature, my film will lead the one to find a positive attitude toward the stress in the city through returning to nature.
